Description
Basic Rider Course (BRC) 3-Day Weekday Motorcycle Course
Basic Rider Course, or BRC for short, is the backbone of all the MSF motorcycle training and is a great place to start your learning process. This class is designed for the person with little or no experience on a motorcycle.
(You must need to know how to ride a bicycle to take this course.)
The BRC course will also help the seasoned rider break bad habits and get back to being smooth and safe on the street.
Upon successful completion of the BRC, the rider receives the ability for the student to bypass the “skills test” at The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Upon completion, the rider will also receive a “Motorcycle Safety Foundation BRC completion card.” The completion card is good for discounts at area dealerships on products ranging from safety gear to parts and possibly a discount on a new bike. Most importantly, the BRC completion card is accepted by most insurance companies for a discount on premiums ranging from 5-20%.
Upon purchase of this course you will receive a link to your Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) eCourse. The course must be completed before you show up for your riding portion. This 5 hour course takes the place of the classroom portion of your riding course. All classroom is now online no longer at our riding facility.
All riders must bring all of their gear to all classes. You will be sent home and have to reschedule your class if you do not bring your gear. A student MUST bring their own DOT approved helmet to class!
(Please note: DOT approved half-helmets are not allowed in
Learning Curves BRC )
